Today we will study, fellowship, and share together "Signs of Jesus' Return" No. 4 Speak and offer a prayer: Dear Abba Heavenly Father, our Lord Jesus Christ, thank you that the Holy Spirit is always with us! Amen. Thank you Lord! A virtuous woman【 church 】Send out workers: through the word of truth written in their hands and spoken by them, which is the gospel of our salvation, glory, and redemption of our bodies. Food is transported from the sky from afar and supplied to us at the right time to make our spiritual life richer! Amen. Ask the Lord Jesus to continue to illuminate the eyes of our souls and open our minds to understand the Bible so that we can hear and see spiritual truths: That all God’s children may understand the signs of sinners and the lawless ones .
The above prayers, supplications, intercessions, thanks, and blessings! I ask this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Amen
1. The abomination of desolation
(1) Thief
ask: Who is the abomination of desolation?
answer: " thief ” → “ snake "Satan the devil.
The Lord Jesus said → I am the door; whoever enters through me will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture. When thieves come, they only want steal, kill, destroy ; I came so that the sheep (or translated as: humans) may have life, and have it more abundantly. Reference (John 10:9-10)
(2)Fox
ask: What does a fox destroy?
answer: " fox ” refers to the devil, Satan, who will destroy the Lord’s vineyard.
Song of Songs [2:15] Catch for us the foxes, the little foxes that destroy the vineyards, for our grapes are blooming.
(3) The king of Babylon destroyed the temple (for the first time)
ask: Who can do →the abomination of desolation?
answer: king of babylon →Nebuchadnezzar
2 Kings [Chapter 24:13] The king of Babylon took away all the treasures from the house of the LORD and from the royal palace, and destroyed all the gold vessels that King Solomon of Israel had built in the house of the LORD, just as the LORD had said;
2 Chronicles [36:19] The Chaldeans burned the temple of God, tore down the walls of Jerusalem, burned the palaces in the city with fire, and destroyed the precious vessels in the city.
(4) Jerusalem (second) rebuilding of the temple
ask: How many years did it take for the temple in Jerusalem to be rebuilt after being desolate?
Answer: 70 years
Daniel [Chapter 9:1-2] In the first year of the reign of Darius son of Ahasuerus of the Medes, which was the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, learned from the book The word of the LORD came to Jeremiah the prophet regarding the years of Jerusalem’s desolation; Seventy years is the end .
1 From the command to rebuild Jerusalem
In the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, in order to fulfill the words spoken through the mouth of Jeremiah, the LORD stirred up the heart of Cyrus king of Persia and caused him to issue an edict to the whole country: "This is what Cyrus king of Persia says: 'The LORD, the God of heaven, has ordered the whole world to All nations were given to me, and he commanded me to build him a house in Jerusalem of Judah. Let all who are among his people go up to Jerusalem of Judah. Rebuilding the temple of the Lord God of Israel in Jerusalem (He alone is God). May God be with this man. Reference (Ezra 1:1-3)
2 The temple was built in the sixth year of King Darius
The elders of Judah built the temple because of the words of encouragement given by the prophet Haggai and Zechariah the son of Iddo, and everything prospered. They built it according to the command of the God of Israel and the decree of Cyrus, Darius, and Artaxerxes, kings of Persia. In the sixth year of King Darius, on the third day of the first month of Adar, this temple was completed. . Reference (Ezra 6:14-15)
3 On the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, king Artaxerxes, the wall was completed.
On the twenty-fifth day of the month Elul, the wall was completed, and it took fifty-two days to build it. When all our enemies and the Gentiles around us heard this, they were afraid and frowned, because they saw that the work was finished because it was from our God. Reference (Nehemiah 6:15-16)
2. Jesus predicted the destruction of the temple (the second time)
(1) Jesus prophesied that the temple would be destroyed
As Jesus approached Jerusalem, he saw the city and wept over it, saying, “Wish you had known in this day what is for your peace; but now it is hidden from your eyes, for the days are coming when you Your enemies will build a rampart around you and surround you on all sides, and they will destroy you and your children within you, not even a stone will be left on your stone, because you do not know the time of his visitation." Reference ( Gospel of Luke Chapter 19 verses 41-44)
(2) Jesus predicted that the temple would be built in three days
ask: What did Jesus use to build the temple in three days?
Answer: Make his body a temple
Jesus answered him, "Destroy this temple; I will build it again within three days . The Jews then said, "It took forty-six years to build this temple. Are you going to raise it again in three days?" " But Jesus said this with His body as the temple . So after He rose from the dead, the disciples remembered what He had said and believed the Bible and what Jesus said. Reference (John 2:19-22)
(3) The earthly temple was demolished in 70 AD
ask: The abomination of desolation →Who destroyed the temple for the second time?
answer: Roman general → Titus .
Note: Jesus Christ was resurrected from the dead and reborn us, which is what the Lord Jesus said ( three days ) and was established again in the church, making his body the temple. We are the members of his body, the temple of the Holy Spirit, not a temple made with hands → From that time on, the church in Jerusalem was established. After "Stephen" was martyred for the Lord , the church in Jerusalem was severely persecuted by the Jews, and the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ was spread to the outside world→" Within one or seven , he will make a firm covenant with many” → “ Antioch "...and many more( Gentile ) church was established.
All the apostles and disciples understand that they are all temples built by the Lord Jesus Christ in three days, not temples made with hands. The Jewish Jerusalem is a temple made with hands, a "shadow", not the true image, that is, the true Holy Place. Christians enter the true Holy Place, a temple that can never be destroyed → it is the Jerusalem in heaven! Amen
(4) History of Jerusalem after 70 AD

ask: What history did you experience after the destruction of the Second Temple?
answer: Starting from the history of 70 AD→→
1 The Roman general "Titus" and the King of Babylon were both evil men who committed abominable destruction. After General Titus destroyed and burned the Second Temple, he built a temple of Rome's highest god "Jupiter" on the ruins of the temple. , and renamed the province of Judah to Palestine.
2 In 637 AD, the Islamic empire rose and after occupying Palestine, (the abomination of destruction) built the "Al-Aqsa Mosque" on the site of the temple and the "Aqsa Mosque" adjacent to it, which is still there today in 2022 AD.
3 On May 14, 1948 AD, Israel was declared a nation;
The New City of Jerusalem was recovered on February 24, 1949 during the first Middle East War; the Old City was recovered after the "Six-Day War" ended on June 5, 1967; Jerusalem was declared the capital in 1980.

now( Wailing Wall ) The open-air square is where the Israelis pray, repent, cry, and complain to God. They have been exiled for more than a thousand years. Now they have returned to their country and are grateful! They are ( Wailing Wall )Pray for peace, pray for hope( Messiah ) to save and revive the nation of Israel and build a house of prayer for all nations like "Solomon".
